The regional housing market remained active from October 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026, with most counties across the LCAR service area reporting increases in closed sales and pending transactions compared with the same period last year. Inventory rose in many areas, helping create a more balanced market, while home prices continued to rise in several counties and property categories. Although homes generally took a little longer to sell, buyer demand remained steady heading into spring, especially in Nez Perce and Latah counties.
